Exceptionally over sided, the main saloon, dining area and galley are tastefully finished throughout to create warmth and comfort, that make sailing a special pleasure. The dining table can accommodate comfortably ten guests on two lavish sofas. A quite comfortable galley with all modern facilities, including 3 refrigerators, deep freezer, an oven with grill and microwave oven are ready for own culinary demands. A fully equipped bar including an ice maker is at your service also.

COCKPIT AND DECK AREA

The spacious flash teak-deck and the extraordinary large cockpit makes the
ATLANTIC 55 ideal for the special needs of Mediterranean on deck yachting life. There is a large cockpit table that accommodates twelve people in comfort. George was born in 1972 in Lesvos, a beautiful Greek Island which is well known for its famous ouzo. He started sailing as a hobby at the age of 7 and was soon participating in races in Optimists and 420's. During his high school years, he expanded his knowledge and passion for sailing, earning his offshore sailing diploma. While serving in the Greek Army, he studies naval architecture and design for 2 years, later earning his Yacht Master in England.

He was involved in many offshore races and for 2 years was a crew member on the Whitbread Maxi 85 "Defender". George is working since 1994 as a professional skipper, bringing his passion, expertise, and over 50,000 miles experience including charters and deliveries in the Mediterranean as well as the trans-Atlantic. Some of his hobbies include spear fishing, Greek philosophy and street bike. He is, fluent in English
