S/Y BOOM is a Lagoon 560 built in 2018 She leads in comfort, ergonomics and style, combining the world-renowned talents of the architectural firm VPLP and the design consultants Nauta. Designed for hospitable cruising, The fly bridge is a veritable upper-deck saloon (access via closable stairway). Its helm station provides perfect visibility and includes a magnificent spot for sunbathing at the rear The cockpit is fully protected from the sun and sea spray and is on the same level as the galley cuisine (centre galley version), saloon and chart table. Includes large sliding glass door. Large and practical foredeck cockpit. Transom platforms specially designed for safe boarding. The cockpit is directly accessible from the owner's cabin (starboard) and guest cabin (port) owner's cabin includes office, separate washroom and direct access to the cockpit
Guest cabins include VIP accommodation with separate washrooms, the saloon is made up of a lounge area and an “L-shaped” galley separated by a stowage unit that can also accommodate a TV on a lift mechanism on the lounge side.

Captain

John was born in 1991 and he is half South African and half Greek.
He started his career in 2015 as a dive instructor and deckhand in several sailing yachts until 2018 in Seychelles.
In 2018 he worked as a captain and one year later he was working as a first mate and dive instructor on a motor catamaran in Nassau.
He holds RYA yacht master offshore, and power boat level 2, medical certificates and the STCW ’95, and he holds PADI OWSI plus Specialty and first aid Instructor.
He is also a PADI instructor with 3 years experience as a cruise director for expedition vessels.
He is willing to advance his qualifications and experience in the hopes of one day captaining research/ expedition vessels as he has a strong love for the ocean, and of teaching other to have the same.

From the heart of Athens Irini started her culinary career in small greek restaurants as a waitress. She studied Architecture in the University of Patras, but after her studies, she decided she wants to follow the culinary career. She was born in 1988, she speaks English, some Spanish and a little bit of French.

Her passion is judo, travelling and of course cooking! Team working, is one of her strengths. She always trying to evolve and she's very communicative both with adults and children. Thus, she is the perfect person to have on board.

Errikos is half Dutch and half Greek and grew up in Greece. He is a person with many talents from barman to event manager to interior decorator. He has tried them all out before following his passion for sailing and traveling. He is a very calm person, reliable, hard-working and easily adaptable. His guests will get to know him as the multi-tasking person on board always ready to assist in their every need! He speaks English, Dutch and Greek fluently.
