As part of our efforts to address this issue, our Green Wave fleet is exploring smart, innovative ways to reduce waste and champion sustainable travel.
One of our most pressing challenges is reducing the use of single-use plastic aboard our yachts—particularly plastic water bottles. Every yacht in our fleet consumes up to 4,000 plastic bottles per season. Multiply that across our entire fleet, and the environmental impact becomes impossible to ignore. This is why, starting in 2024, we launched a project dedicated to finding safe, sustainable solutions for providing drinkable water on board.
We believe in transparency, and that’s why we want to openly share our commitment to reducing single-use plastics aboard our yachts. While we have not yet finalized a fully implemented system for supplying safe, drinkable water on board, we are actively exploring methods that prioritize the safety and comfort of our guests. Our determination remains strong, and we are committed to developing solutions that align with our long-term sustainability vision.
In the meantime, guests aboard our Green Wave fleet can use the innovative LARQ bottles provided during their trip, refilling them at islands, restaurants, or any source of clean drinkable water. These bottles serve as a convenient, personal hydration companion while exploring the breathtaking Greek islands—offering both functionality and sustainability throughout the journey.
