The Green Wave Fleet is FYLY Yachting’s eco-friendly yacht fleet in Greece, designed to promote more sustainable sailing practices. Each yacht is equipped with solar panels, water makers, and inverters to reduce fuel use and minimize its environmental footprint. The fleet is fully certified by Green Sail, ensuring verified and transparent sustainable operation.

It reflects our company ethos of ethical sailing and our commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future for the yachting industry.
Yes. In 2025, FYLY became the first yachting company in Greece to have an entire fleet certified by Green Sail and to track CO₂ emissions across all Green Wave yachts. This marks a verified step toward more responsible and transparent sailing practices.
Green Wave yachts are not zero-impact, but they are designed to meaningfully reduce the environmental footprint of charter sailing. Each yacht includes solar panels to decrease reliance on fuel-generated power, water makers to limit single-use plastic consumption, energy-efficient inverters for smarter power use, eco-friendly onboard essentials from partners like Korres and Theoni, paper water bottles instead of plastic, and recycling stations whenever island facilities allow. Beyond equipment, Green Wave is about mindset—informing and empowering guests to sail more consciously and become part of a growing community of responsible sailors.
CO₂ data is verified annually by Green Sail. This allows FYLY to measure real energy usage, set reduction goals, and transparently report progress—ensuring credible, measurable sustainability rather than greenwashing.
Every Green Wave charter includes marine-safe Korres sunscreen and after-sun, Theoni paper-bottled water, Planet Eco cleaning products, reusable tote bags, sustainable snacks and Greek olive oil, and a FYLY magazine with responsible sailing tips. These additions create a premium yet environmentally conscious sailing experience.
FYLY actively works toward plastic-free sailing by replacing plastic water bottles with Theoni paper bottles, offering reusable bags and refill options, promoting onboard recycling practices, encouraging guests to minimize waste, and previously providing LARQ UV bottles. During 2024–2025, FYLY avoided the use of 266 plastic 1.5L bottles on Green Wave yachts.
Guests can support sustainability by reusing water bottles, practicing low-impact sailing, reducing motoring speed to around 6–7 knots when sailing is not possible, recycling when facilities allow, participating in optional ARTEMIS beach clean-ups using onboard kits, and following the sustainability tips provided. Small actions can create a significant positive impact.
