Tips for Traveling With Your Pet
1. Preparation Is Key
Before your trip, make sure your pet’s vaccinations, microchip, and travel documents are up to date. Check Greece’s pet entry regulations if you’re arriving from abroad.
2. Pack the Essentials
Bring along:
- Their favorite blanket or bed (familiar scent = comfort)
- Food and water bowls
- Pet life jacket
- Waste bags, cleaning wipes, and a towel for after swims
3. Safety on Board
Always make sure your pet wears a life jacket when on deck, especially while underway. Cats and small dogs can be startled by waves or sudden motion. It’s also best to keep them in shaded areas during the hottest hours of the day.
4. Comfort & Routine
Stick to your pet’s feeding and exercise schedule to keep them happy and stress-free. Give your pet time to get used to the yacht’s motion — start with shorter sails and allow them to stretch their legs during shore excursions. Many Greek islands are pet-friendly, some even have small beaches perfect for furry swims.
5. Seasickness Solutions
Check with your vet for anti-nausea options if your pet is prone to motion sickness.
6. Cleaning & Comfort
We know pets can bring a little extra sand and fur. That’s why there’s a slightly higher end-cleaning fee, ensuring the yacht remains spotless and fresh for all guests.
